Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the SketchBuddy app (hereafter referred to as "Application") for macOS, created by Felix Lapalme (hereafter referred to as "Service Provider") as a commercial product.

By downloading or using the Application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

License

You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the Application for personal or business purposes. Unauthorized copying, modification, reverse-engineering, or redistribution of the Application is prohibited. All rights remain with the Service Provider.

Purchases and Licensing

Licenses are sold and managed via Paddle, our payment processor. Paddle’s terms and privacy policy apply to purchases. License validation checks may occur when the Application is launched.

Refund Policy

Purchases are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. All transactions are subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

Customers in the EU and UK have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days of the transaction for a full refund, unless they have already begun downloading or using the digital content and explicitly agreed to waive this right during checkout.

For customers outside the EU and UK, refunds may also be granted in cases such as unresolved technical issues or if you are not satisfied with the Application. These requests are handled at the Service Provider’s discretion. Please contact: contact@sketchbuddy.dev.

No Data Collection

The Application itself does not collect personal data. Purchase information is processed solely by Paddle.

Use of the Application

You are responsible for maintaining access to your Mac device. The Service Provider is not responsible for issues arising from operating system updates, hardware failure, or third-party services (including sketch.com) that the Application relies on.

Updates and Availability

The Service Provider may provide updates to maintain compatibility or functionality. You agree to install such updates. The Service Provider may discontinue the Application at any time without notice.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided "AS IS," without warranties of any kind. The Service Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the Application.

Termination

If you breach these Terms, your license is terminated immediately and you must stop using the Application and delete it from your device.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Updates will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Application after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
